1. General Terms

Cules.ro ("The Platform") is an online marketplace that facilitates the connection between local agricultural producers ("Farmers") and buyers ("Customers"). By accessing and using this platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Role of the Platform

The Platform acts strictly as a technological intermediary. We do not own, grow, deliver, or guarantee the quality of the products listed by Farmers. The sales contract is concluded exclusively between the Customer and the Farmer.

3. User Account

  • To buy or sell products, you must create an account.
  • Phone number verification: For security reasons and to ensure order traceability, using the platform requires a valid phone number that will be verified via an SMS code (code sent through partner verification services, including Google OAuth/Firebase).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

4. Rules for Farmers

Farmers commit to:

  • Listing only their own agricultural products, complying with applicable sanitary-veterinary regulations.
  • Providing accurate and updated information regarding stock, price, and available delivery methods.
  • Fulfilling confirmed orders and communicating directly with Customers in case of any logistical issues.

5. Rules for Customers

Customers commit to:

  • Providing accurate contact and delivery information.
  • Picking up or accepting confirmed orders within the timeframe agreed with the Farmer.
  • Using civilized language in communication with Farmers. The Platform reserves the right to suspend accounts of those who abuse the review or ordering system.

6. Payments and Deliveries

Payments can be processed online (via Stripe) or cash on delivery, depending on the options set by the Farmers. The return policy is subject to the applicable legislation for food products, with returns being possible only in case of clear non-conformities reported at the time of receipt.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the non-fulfillment of the contract between Farmer and Customer, nor for possible food allergies or other product defects, which are the exclusive responsibility of the Farmer.
